Jeffrey K on Balcony TV
While we were out at Canadian Music Week last month, Jeff performed an acoustic version of one of the songs we plan to record for our new album. The song is called “Like A Drum”. Thanks to Sarah @ Balcony TV for having us on the program. If you’d like to check out more Balcony TV videos, check out their website: www.balconytv.com

Happy MOvember to all!
Well hello there, friends! The past two weeks have been busy! We wanted to recap and share with you all of the things we were up to, just in case you missed the events! We also wanted to congratulate the Peak Performance Project finalists and all of our fellow Peak Performers and wish everyone the best of luck in their careers! As a few of our lovely fans have been saying to us recently, “You’re still number one in our books!” We love you all so very much. Monday, November 1st: We, along with our good buddy @VinceVaccaro, went to The Zone 91.3 (thezone.fm) building to begin our month long endeavor into what it is becoming more commonly known as “MOvember.” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Movember) And in the name of raising awareness and
Breakout West: Wild nights and fantastic friends!
Break Out West: Wild nights and wonderful friends I’ve always pictured this, a festival in a familiar town, in our province, an abundance of great performances all at once, friends on every corner, the celebration and comraderie that comes with an event such as this. It definitely happened, and we came into it confident and ready, barely containing our excitment. A weekend of this magnitude truly has no words. Anything I would use to describe would just understate it (scrumtrulescent) But what I WILL say is that we left with a new found inspiration, new heads on our shoulders, and a memory of something fullfilled within us. We left early Thursday morning, October 21st. I had slept for 3 hours due to the anticipation of the trip, as always, trying
The Zone 91.3 FM Movember Fundraising
Often times on tour we’ve heard the term “Best Band Of Beards” in relation to our band’s lack of shaving skills. This coming month of November, we hope to substitute that for “Best Band Of Moustaches”! Explanation: a few weeks back, our friends at local radio station The Zone 91.3 FM in Victoria asked us to join their Movember team, to not only grow amazing moustaches, but also to raise money for a manly cause: prostate cancer research. Monday, November 1st at 3PM tune into The Zone 91.3 FM to hear a serious shaving event. This will include our very own bass player Dan Ball getting his giant beard shaved, along with other Acres Of Lions members and fellow rocker Vince Vaccaro. It’s all for charity, so we hope that

Benefit Concert Raises $500 for MusiCounts!
Thanks to everyone who attended our MusiCounts Benefit concert this past Tuesday at Lucky Bar! Especially Lindsay Bryan, Sound and Science, and Bells and Cannons who so kindly volunteered their time and music for this great cause. Between the money collected at the door, the donation jar on our merch table, and the t-shirts we sold ($5 from every sale was donated) we managed to raise $500 for MusiCounts! This money will go directly to MusiCounts Band Aid Program, that grants money to needy schools across Canada so that they can purchase new instruments for their students. Also, for those of you who were unable to attend the concert, Acres Of Lions has set up a special paypal account that allows you to donate money towards our MusiCounts campaign. All
