On of the challenges in the 2011 Peak Performance Project was to write a song about Vancouver to commemorate Vancouver’s 125th birthday.

The songs were recorded in the wee hours of the morning in makeshift studios in the bunk houses at the Peak Performance Project Bootcamp in Princeton, BC.

The bands had some great producers to work with: Shawn Cole, Garth Richardson, Warne Livesey, Dane Deviller and Winston Hauschild, and big thanks to all the students from Nimbus Recording for their help making these tracks come to life.

Acres Of Lions song is titled “City By The Sea” and was produced by the legendary GGGarth Richardson. A big thanks to Garth, and also a big thanks to our friend Cody Beer who came to bootcamp with us and performed on this song.
