Free BC Day Concert!
Note: The venue has changed! Please refer to this newer post… http://www.acresoflions.com/wordpress/?p=518 For the second year in a row Acres Of Lions is performing at the free Capital Festival BC Day celebration. This year the outdoor event is taking place on Monday August 2nd in Langford’s new City Center Park stadium and will feature a whole bunch of great artists including David Gogo, Xanthic Blue, Ed Peekeekoot, Alan Molberg, and more. Peak Performance Top 20 Finalist!
We just found out this afternoon listening to The Peak 100.5 FM that we’ve been selected for the 2010 Peak Performance Project Top 20! It’s an honor to be chosen from a list that started with 470 artists from around the province, and we wanted to extend our congratulations to all the other great bands that made the cut (many of whom we’ve shared stages and beers with in the past)!
