“Working” available on YouTube
Acres Of Lions debut album “Working” is now available to be streamed in it’s entirety on YouTube. The album features 10 tracks released in Canada on Cordova Bay Record, February 10, 2009. Wanted: Touring Drummer
Our friend and drummer Lewis Carter is finishing his final semester of school this spring, so we need to find someone to fill in for him on some Canadian tour dates on our way out to the Canadian Music Week festival in Toronto, ON. We’d prefer to find someone from Victoria, but are open to drummers from other cities as well. EdgeFest 2012
We’re very excited to announce that Acres Of Lions will be performing at Edgefest 2012! Other performers include: Billy Talent, Death from Above 1979, Silversun Pickups, The Pack A.D., The Sheepdogs, Young The Giant, The Dirty Heads, The Darcys, Said the Whale, Library Voices, the Balconies, The Coppertone, Hacienda, Indian Handcrafts and Whale Tooth. The event takes place on July 14 at Downsview Park in Toronto. Tickets go on sale to the public starting December 16 via Ticketmaster. Early Bird tickets will cost $39.50 while supplies last, and when these run out, standard issue tickets will cost $49.50 a pop. VIP tickets are $72.50 each, and include access to a special section at the front of the stage, exclusive food vendors, bars, restrooms, and an Edgefest T-shirt. >> read more
