Dear friends, fans and followers, It gives us great pleasure to formally introduce to you the newest member of Acres Of Lions, Mr. Shane Deyotte! Shane will be joining us as our permanent drummer, and we would just like to give him a big welcome into the musical, traveling family of roustabouts that is Acres Of Lions. He is a trusted, handsome, loving, talented and long-time friend of the band and we couldn’t be happier having him on board! For those of you who are undoubtedly curious about where Lewis has gone, we want you all to know that he is happy and has left the band on good terms. We are all still the best of friends and we wish him all the very best at home in Victoria!

Summer Festivals
If you haven’t been following us on Facebook or Twitter, it’s been a busy year for us so far! Toured across Canada in March, released both our albums in Japan, flew over to the UK for a couple showcase dates, then spent the past 3 months touring northern BC with the JobFest 2012 tour. This weekend we’re starting a run of summer tour dates in BC, AB, and ON playing festivals and shows with some amazing Canadian acts including: Billy Talent, USS, Said The Whale, The Dudes, Tokyo Police Club, Dan Mangan, and more! JobFest 2012 Montage
Here’s a great little montage created by Work BC that sheds a little more light into what this JobFest 2012 tour is all about. This one was filmed on location in Abbotsford, BC back in April so it was still a little bit rainy. We just finished shooting a second video in Burns Lake, BC that shows the tour with a little more sunshine so stay turned for that one.
