Today we created a Facebook Group for the Acres Of Lions Street Team and we’re hoping you will join us!

The idea behind the group is to single out the fans who really believe in our band and who might be willing from time to time to help us out. In exchange for your extra support we’re going to do our best to make you feel like a part of our family, so that will include stuff like giving you early concert announcements, free merch giveaways, free guestlists spots at shows, etc, etc.

This whole process is very new for us, so if you have any cool ideas of things we could do to promote the band, or better incentives we could offer to get you to help us out, please send us an email to our new Street Team email address: streetteam@acresoflions.com

To start things off, our first goal is to earn some good karma points by helping out a really cool organization called MusiCounts. They help with funding for music programs in Canadian schools and they have an opportunity to win a $100,000 grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project. The process is determined by online voting, so our Street Team has created a Facebook event that explains the process further.
