We are really excited to announce that this fall Acres Of Lions is partnering with an amazing Canadian organization called MusiCounts!!

The purpose of the organization is to keep under-funded music programs alive in our schools, and we are so happy to be able to be involved in helping such an amazing cause. Music shapes our lives in so many ways, and as artists it’s sad for us to think that many kids across this great country are missing out on the joy of music.

Our goal is to not only raise money for the project, but also to raise awareness for what MusiCounts is doing, so that brings us to STEP 1, of our multi-step plan.

STEP 1 – PEPSI REFRESH PROJECT
On October 31st, Pepsi is donating $100,000 to support one charity or idea that will have a positive impact on the community – and we think they should pick MusiCounts! If that miracle happens, the money would go into MusiCounts Band Aid Program, providing funding to deserving schools across Canada for purchasing instruments for their music programs.

The decision is based on internet voting, so all you have to do to help is go to the MusiCounts Page on the Pepsi Refresh Project and vote!!

The system let’s you vote once per day, so it would be awesome if you could try to vote as much as you can and also encourage your friends to vote too!

We’ll be announcing a bunch more initiatives involving MusiCounts over the next few weeks, and I hope you will all be as excited as we are about helping support this amazing organization.
