It’s less than two weeks until Halloween, so we wanted to remind everyone that this year Acres Of Lions is part of a super fun all-ages Halloween Party called Hallowfest that’s happening at Saanich Commonwealth Place.

The doors will be open from 7 PM – 11PM on October 31st, and in addition to bands there will be a bunch of fun games to play: Horizontal Bungee, SUMO SUITS, BIG SCREEN Rock Band, Wii GAMES room, etc. There will also be a bunch of amazing free prizes given away – some of the stuff the promoters gave away at last years’ event included an iPod Touch, skateboard decks, and a Nintendo Wii – so some of you are definitely going to get hooked up!

Tickets are available for $10 presale (available at Commonwealth Place) or $12 at door.

We’re still working on editing together the last episode or two of video footage from our cross Canada tour in August/September, but in the meantime we’ve got a video collage of still photos we took while we were on the road.

Many of the photos included are of bands that we played shows and/or partied with including: Mapping The Escape, AM Glory, Brights, The Artist Life, Everyone Everywhere, The Junction, Zachary Lucky, Breaching Vista, and Immaculate Machine.

The song in the video is “This was not my Best Day Ever” from our debut album “Working“.
