“I hope we get the ‘Spider-Man’ room!”

We are back on the road again with Jobfest 2012!

It’s so nice to be back. As you may or may not know, earlier this year (April – July, to be exact) we toured the northern communities of British Columbia with a BC government funded program called Jobfest 2012, bringing online career applications and options to young people all over the province. We were the hired entertainment, and it was just fantastic to be able to connect with so many awesome people along the way, and also, to be able to perform in so many areas of the province, places like Haida Gwaii and northern towns along the Alaskan borders, to set up our instruments and make loud noises in front of interested ears and appreciative communities.

But like we said, we’re back doing a small portion of the southern dates, which has already brought us through the West Kootenays, through Jeff and Dan’s hometowns of Castlegar and Nelson which were amazing, a show at The Royal in Nelson, and Cranbrook where we got to reconnect with so many old friends and family. On the rest of the September Jobfest tour, we will be seeing and performing in Revelstoke, Salmon Arm, Vernon, Kelowna, and then following up in October in Victoria, Duncan, Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Campbell River and ending on Powell River. We’ve definitely missed everyone since we left, and it kind of feels like we’ve been on summer vacation and are finally back to work!

We have a crazy schedule for the next 2 months, and in addition to the Jobfest 2012 dates, we will be playing a handful of amazing one-off shows with some lovely acts like Limblifter, The Balconies, The Harbour Sound, Everyone Everywhere, Billy The Kid and Hawk and Steel. Please, definitely visit our TOUR DATES section and find out exactly when you can come hang out with us and these rad bands. We miss you and want to see you all!

There’s more to come, friends, and more to be determined. Like, will Dan Ball finally meet his lifetime internet companion? Will Tyson get a parasite from all of his canned and uncooked meals? Will Shane get sexier, and will Jeff ever come back to the realm of sanity? Only time will tell. Until then, here’s some links to some new media and events coming up between Jobfest dates. Spread the word!

Talk to you soon, and we hope to see you out at these!
